Previously we've seen the National Enquirer posting news about John Edwards affair. Various news sources on both sides of the aisles and Republicans came to John's backing helping him deny the affair. Some here believe this shows some sort of liberal media failure.

Now the National Enquirer is publishing that Palin had an affair with a business partner. This affair was the reason that the business failed. Palin's husband forced a pull out of the business.

Question is ... will the media make the same mistake and fail to republish tabloid news? If they don't will those who believed it was liberal media hiding something now believe it is conservative media hiding something? Or will they realize the problem here is that National Enquirer is a tabolid and has 0 journalistic credibility.

1) I tried to resurrect the Edwards/Enquirer thread for this as I thought it would be fittingly ironic.

IF she did, that would be sad. However I don't see you mentioning dirty hush money or Palin's husband dying or such.
