But that's the whole point of having a war. If people can't make money at it, what's the point? (Well, of course it has it's own strategic goals but there's always money to be made).

Now, how many of these contracts that the US is still paying for were all those Cheney and his buddies getting their no-bid, cost plus contracts. Those keep on paying out no matter who is in power. Does Obama have the nuts to ax them? Does he have sufficient trust in his security people?

And your point is that this now makes the no-bid, cost-plus contracts signed under Bush OK? Is that what you are saying? Does what Obama is doing now make it OK for Cheney to have done what he did back then? Or what the Republicans will do in the future?

Or, (just to actually state an alternative) is it wrong now and was it wrong under Bush and will it be wrong in the future to do this?
