Shows that the trend has been going on for a considerable time before your chart starts. (For an explanation of the numbers go here).
Some of the diminishing labour force is people giving up looking for work. Some of it is retirements and some of it is people going to jail.

Still, more hopeless unemployed young people should translate into better recruitment for the armed forces. Currently about a hundred thousand in Afghanistan and they could use a few more.

Sure, but the chart stops in 2008 with the 08 financial crises starts and I would expect under Obama's policies begin to explode. And I will point out your chart is labelled for Men and not Total Work Force.

Nor does it show the total numbers of prisoners who are held more then 365 days. Local stockades are filled with those serving less then 365 days as those serving more then 364 days (felony) go to Dept of Corrections in most states so a portion of the above may have worked during apart of the year and would be counted in the total work force.

Problem is for those supporting Obama, it's clearly getting worse, and not better. As a member of the U-6 in America, I can attest just how awful it is looking for full time work.

In 2008 there were no Obama policies and if you know how fast government moves you'll see that even where there are "Obama policies", and don't forget that Obama doesn't write the bills himself and he doesn't vote them through the houses, much of the stuff hasn't come into force. That aside, if you really like charts then the place I like to head for such thinks is the St. Louis Fed. They keep pretty up to date and they collect a lot of economic data. Just look at all the charts about employment.
Participation rate for men has been falling for year

The unemployment rate didn't spike as high as in the early 80sUNRATE_Max_630_378.png

As a member of U6 you are voting against yourself if you vote against socialism. Of course, you have no choice but to vote against socialism because there aren't any socialists running for president.

Yup, as women entered into the work force for WW II and stayed.

See above.

Flat is better then decline any day of the week.

That is when we were suffering the brutal Carter's legacy of massive inflation and massive unemployment for misery index that went off the charts. Problem for the U-3 you posted is that it's a contrived number based on polling of 6,000 people (not based on unemployment numbers from each individual state) who have land lines that put in a job app in the last four weeks so those who are unemployed and haven't bothered to look are no longer counted in U-3 as well as the 2 million jobs that went away that the US government says are not coming back either so the numbers look far better then what they are.

It could be argued that I am voting for a socialist, Romney. Just can't vote for a Marxist like Obama. Damn shame the Global Elites won yet again, a choice between a socialist (Romney) because I damn well know voting for anyone else is a vote for that Marxist's second term when America will be on it's knees and Soros and the other Global Elites will be pushing to destroy the US Constitution which will seal their total control over North America. Future American generations do not deserve to be born into the land of serfdom to Soros and his Global Elite buddies.
