Rick Perry supports serial adulterer should be the headline.

I beg to differ; I don't think he supported Clinton nor Edwards!:p

I think that Brokeback Mountain TV ad really hurt him ;)

That means it's down to three NWOers and a guy who can make deals. Guess it's the lesser of the evils for my vote. Pity.

It's down to three flip-flopping politicians versus one man who sticks to his guns and votes on principle - for 40 years.

@Fluffy,

Politics in a Democratically elected Representational system is the art of compromise. The elected officals are there for the best of all in the community, even those that disagree with them. Standing ground may be honorable to a degree. At some point it becomes an activity akin to a spoiled 5 year old who can't get their way.

It appears that Ron Paul hopes the rest of the world will get aboard his train instead of seeking a ground where each side can eek out a victory and the system can progress. While I believe Obama has tried too hard to find that middle ground and should stand more firm at times, losing compromise in the system isn't a win either.

When the rest of congress is willing to piss on the Constitution, Bill of Rights etc, Ron Paul is the only not to. There is NO compromise when it comes to our rights. The rest of Congress and the exeuctive branch need to come around, not Paul compromise.

@Red,
I don't disagree that some in Congress are doing a bad job upholding the Constitution. Patriot Act's one example we both agree on.

However, Paul believes "The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers" -- I'm afraid he'll simply bring his own flavor of piss.

I tend to think we're well past the time of compromises like that working. I'm all for someone who will go in and rattle some cages and stir up some of the giant turds none of the establishment wants to deal with. Just compromising and ignoring the problems is exactly what GM did for years and years. They let inertia guide their decisions. Every decision they made since the '70's was because it was the best compromise. I'm sick of letting inertia guide the country. I don't agree with EVERYTHING he wants to do. But at least I think he'll try to do SOMETHING. WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING, AND IT NEEDS TO BE NOW.
