At least according to this unhappy camper. And that jibes with what we knew about the Bush Governorship but most of America didn't get to hear about.

Indeed, a failed education system that feeds its failures into a private prison system at taxpayer expense is just the sort of thing that is being spread across the land. And let's not forget that, at least in Texas and Florida, two formerly Bush controlled states, felons can't vote. If you are the sort of person who is being funneled into the prisons by the system, you aren't allowed to vote to change the system.

It's all very very beautiful.

And there's more. Rick Perry has been handing out favours to rich Texans and creating budget deficits which he patched up with stimulus money and then berated Obama for spending it. Insane or just evil? Either way - sounds like the kind of President that the people of the US deserve.

Does the Existentialist Cowboy have an alibi for June 8th, 2008??

Of late, Texas has taken political prostitution to levels not seen since A. Hitler pimped his 'Third Reich' to corporate 'johns' --I.G. Farben, Thyssen, Krupp! All would get big, juicy, sexy government contracts if they but joined his crazy, evil scheme to enslave the world and exterminate jews, gypsies and anyone else not liked by Hitler, his cult of Nazis, his hand-picked perverts, whack-jobs, and a panoply of marginal and otherwise ineffective types, in fact, utter failures in a normal world. And those are the Nazis. The GOP may be worse.
...
The TX gulag system differs little from concentration camps. To be expected, they look modern from the outside. But, like Hitler's string of concentration and death camps, it is private enterprise which benefits from the Faustian deals that created them. Reduced to its essence, Hitler's 'Nazi' scheme systematically murdered millions and just as systematically reduced as many to slavery amid unimaginably horrible conditions.

Another non-partisan reporter seeking the truth

While Perry was making a "miracle" of Texas - business and politics was done in the good old fashioned way:

Just the way all corrupt regimes work, really. Still, is a corrupt regime what the US needs right now? It needs to start looking for cleaner politicians.

What would you expect from the head of Al Gore's Texas campaign staff? Clearly the Elites are worried about a Tea Party winning the GOP nomination and they need their bought and paid for nominee in there. Else their plans will be screwed if they can't achieve their primary objectives by election time.

Sorry but I have to say this again. The Tea Party IS a fake. It's a PR campaign set up by the elites (or a branch of them) to suck in disgruntled voters into a pseudo-party that augments the right-wing of the G.O.P.

You are not nearly cynical enough and you swallow the whole storyline. It's bogus and the Tea Party candidates are no less controlled by "the elites" than any other party candidates. Look at the media attention the "Tea Party" candidates are getting. If this was a real party that was counter status quo and vested interests you wouldn't be hearing news stories (both positive and negative) about it. You would hear absolutely nothing at all - just like you currently hear about alternative parties in the US that actually run candidates under their party names.

exactly........the "news" doesn't talk about Ron Paul because he isn't part of their crime syndicate

and perry is an anti-education, anti-science asshole
