Don't forget Palin. She will be pushed into the race for the GOP nomination too because there is no such thing as the Tea Party nomination. The Tea Party is astroturf laid on top of grass roots. It was co-opted from the Libertarians by the GOP and is also a tool of the elites.
OMG, you really can't see the damn forest because of the trees, can you? Take a step away from your rigid ideaology of hating companies as the sole tool of the Global Elites. That's decades old and is a strawman to be used as a tool to do what the Global Elites want. The Global Elites want you to hate the companies, to focus in on hating the companies, they are paying the organizations to whip you all up to continue to focus on hating companies and capitalism. Why they want you to hate companies and capitalism and to grow government so government can dictate to those very same companies and to control capitalism.
They don't want capitalism, they can not control a capitalist America and all it's companies as the PuppetMasters unless US Government does it for them because it's too many companies, too many people, and too few Global Elites. They can not control the middle class who have the ability to make money and control their own destination, they need government to tax and regulate them so they are powerless. They have to have governments that control every aspect of individual's lives, they can't do it themselves, not possible with 8B people. Now they can rot the government from the inside, between political operatives and destroying the currency as the individual companies falter, interest rates rise, and GDP drops. They want the governments as their slaves, they will control the new currency that will be backed by gold and silver. If you can't control your own currency, you are not independent and have limited options. You must do as the money lenders tell you to do. They want a one world currency, theirs. They are supporting the Socialist agenda because it has one major weakness, it inherently destroys capitalism as it grows.
If you think governments will control the Global Elites and their evil corporations, not only you are very wrong, you are a puppet of the Global Elites and their agenda. Global Elites control the government and you are cheering that controlled government in placing the slave collars around our necks. Liberty and economic sanity are the only way to stop the Global Elites from succeeding. If you have ever looked at Forbe's richest 400 Americans list, vast majority support the Democrats, why is that? In your world view, they should all be evil GOPers, but alas, they are not. If the Progressives were so anti-rich, why hasn't your American counter parts pushed for a wealth tax aimed at the billionaires? All they do is squeak and go after the upper middle income people, never the truly rich. That is because the true elites will not allow that to happen in the party they have bought and paid for. Ever noticed just how many Progressive causes Soros has championed with tens of millions of dollars yet he doesn't want to abide by the rules he deemed was good for the rest of us?
I would say you need to wake up and realize who's political bed you are sharing, but I fear it's more then likely too late. As we slide into economic abyss, remember my warnings. I highly doubt Canada will be immune to what is about to happen on a global scale. You will feel our pain and you best start preparing for a nightmarish living for the next several years.
If you think I'm wrong, what are the American Progressive's plan for the economy? How will they balance the budget when they can't raise the taxes high enough to make a serious dent? How are they going to balance the budget and pay off all that debt? There is no plans to balance or pay off, their only plan is to crash the financial system until the American population is begging to drop the dollar for a new world currency backed by the stability of Gold an Silver. It's not going to be your favorite socialistic government controlling this new currency, no sir, no it's not.
Making money is secondary to the Global Elites, they want control, complete global control and there is only one way for them to do it.
