Pfizer cuts the cost of benefits

Somehow I told you so just doesn't cut the mustard anymore.

The cuts were made by former Pfizer CEO Jeff Kindler, who received a bonus in 2009 for working with the Obama administration to pass the healthcare reform bill. Now some retirees believe the reason Kindler was so keen on the bill was because he knew Pfizer’s retirees would be more dependent on government care after he cut their benefits.

Here's the irony. If all the businesses in the US had decided that they wanted to go with a public system then they would have all been able to just drop all their health plans - and the government wouldn't actually be spending any more than it does on a per capita basis right now. But a few very wealthy people would have lost their businesses doing ... health plans.

Or at least they cut the cost to Pfizer. Employees now get their benefits from the Government.
Capitalism in action. It's a beautiful thing.

Yup, I'm sure they will also dump their current employees in 2014 to Obamacare as is 40% of the rest of the corporations. That's Obama's Hope and Change in action!

And if they do then who will vote for the candidate that will vow to get rid of it when it's the only care people have?
