On Saturday, a company called SpaceX is scheduled to launch the first private mission to the International Space Station, demonstrating a freight-carrying capability NASA gave up when it retired its fleet of space shuttles in July.

My friend who worked at Blue Origin moved to a new company this year. Not doing Commerical Space any more. Boo!
 
as long as commercial space activities put safety first and profit second it should do ok

because if they don't they can just kiss the whole thing goodbye
 
on one of the news channels they were talking about how one of the differences between private sector space programs and nasa is that this would've set nasa back a month. private sector can replace rocket right on the pad... so i naturally thought of a nascar pit style crew showing up with all these rocket parts... lol
