Sony finally put an end to the long drawn out death of one of the greatest game studios ever. So long Psygnosis and thanks for all the games.

Tbh I genuinely thought they had been completely subsumed years ago, just like gremlin was by EA.

So yeah, thanks for the great memories!

Menace. Great game. No idea how many hours I spent playing that. I think it was my first Psygnosis game. Mastered that game many times over.

Sad, though, still a remarkable run.

Also remarkable is that several of the Psygnosis studio groups live on.

DMA Design lost the old name, but is an equally recognizable name - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockstar_North

I think Lemmings, Menace, Blood Money, and Hired Guns and others were by DMA design, while Shadow of the Beast and Awesome were Reflections titles.
