Racially profiled, cuffed and strip searched in Detroit

Silly me. I thought flying on 9/11 would be easy. I figured most people would choose not to fly that day so lines would be short, planes would be lightly filled and though security might be ratcheted up, we’d all feel safer knowing we had come a long way since that dreadful Tuesday morning 10 years ago.

But then armed officers stormed my plane, threw me in handcuffs and locked me up.

Seems that people were seeing more than ghosts on 9-11 apparently even cookies are suspicious...

Getting locked up for no reason and interrogated is just the price of "Freedom". Is that really too much?

50 similar incidents the same day? Yeesh.

It'll be only a matter of time before there's a huge backlash. This just can't go on. But then I guess that's what the German Jews thought in 1937...

It is a shame in her mind she was blaming it on "rednecks" when this has nothing to do with "rednecks". Otherwise, her grief is completely understandable. This is a travesty that could happen to anyone nowadays.

And you guys wonder why the Tea Party is so concerned about the fourth amendment?

No, you're right, not rednecks specifically, but white people. You'll note the ethnicity of the other two taken off of the plane.

The Tea Party hates ethnic minorities, wtf would they care what happens to a non white?

Ever wonder why the candidates seem not to care at all? The tea party is about using the disaffected to vote for a bunch more pre-approved candidates. Sad, really, but it's a way to neutralize the anger.
