This struck me funny, in a bad way.
Caitlyn Jenner Wants to Play a Marvel Movie Villain
Here's my problem with this. Jamie Lee Curtis at 59 rarely gets major rolls anymore due to Hollywood ageism problem with women, but Bruce Jenner transitions into Caitlyn Jenner thinks he/she will get a major roll at 68 despite never really acting before? Will be quite telling if it happens. I don't hate Caitlyn Jenner. I just love Jamie Lee Curtis and calling it as it is. Ageism with women in Hollywood is a very real thing. How many movies did Adam Sandler do in a row where he kept getting older, but his movie love interest kept getting younger? Jamie Lee Curtis should have continued to get major rolls. Most other once big name women actors dropped off once they neared middle age. This is not as prevalent with male actors. Most male actors will continue to get rolls, but their movie love interest will usually be the equivalent of "robbing the cradle".
Hollywood is supposed to be so "woke", but ageism for women largely continues. If Caitlyn Jenner suddenly gets a major role out of nowhere at 68, I'd be pretty pissed if I were a real non-third wave feminist. I'd be pretty pissed and I'm nowhere near a feminist.
