This is great. Debt is a wonderful way to control people. I'm sure there are certain people who couldn't be happier. And it also gives people like Romney the chance to buy off people like Pawlenty. There's a favour that's owed.

Amateurs, let Obama show them how to do it right, $5T in less then four years is the world's record! Given another term, he might be able to pull off $11T in new debt in just eight years, unlike that wimpy Bush's $4.5T in eight years.

I'd agree that Obama failed to cut the Bush policies. He kept the tax cut in place when it should have been rescinded. However the net new additions to the spending from Obama is about a 10% gain. A fairly small ratio of increase compared to Reagan or either Bush. Maybe this will help you.
