because not throwing your sh*it around, being respectful of the earth resources and trying to NOT pollute your neighbors food and water is SO against 'god's will"

It's amazing, but I actually know people who think that way.

Yup, we should all follow the democraps who want elitists like Al Gore to use 1,000x the energy of the average American family and jet sets around the country by himself in his fleet of private jets, while the rest of us live in mud huts without electricity and ride bicycles.

I always get a laugh driving around in my TDI and reading the nonsensical liberal, tree-hugging nonsense bumper stickers on the back of Ford Excursions, Winnebagos etc. Democraps are all talk.

are you retarded??

Well uh... I know that Jim sometimes takes the "Franko" level tact, but your response might be a little out of place.. :)
well I guess I was reacting to the "Franko" level of retardedness (even thought that isn't even a word). What I need is a GIANT rolling eyes smilie (I've got one, but it's REALLY big)

In related news everyone thinks we need to add jobs to the economy. Green Energy is one of the best investments to build jobs. Currently the industry is in it's infancy for each $1Million invested it is creating 17 jobs. And clearly puts more people to work than the oil and coal industry which creates 4-5 jobs per $1Million investment.

Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers suggests 225,000 clean energy jobs were either created or preserved through the third quarter of 2010 thanks to more than $80 billion in the economic stimulus package. But those are estimates at best.

At $80 billion, that is mean a cost of $355,555.56 of public subsidy per job created … or “saved.” At best!

the only green jobs Obama is creating are the ones where you walk around with a pointy stick and gig aluminum cans.

I would like to see government create laws that encourage the people of the country to get into green energy instead of money tossing around into the wrong investment of green energy.

Perhaps subsidies for installing solar panels on your house, or tax breaks for using hybrids?

Some states have done that. I wish Florida did more on the solar. the subsidies was too small budget and ran out of the subsidies within 2 years.

I don't know the tax system in florida well enough, but over here in terms of tax on the businesses fitting the things not to mention the tax take on the sale of the panels themselves basically meant that the subsidies more or less paid for themselves.
