RIP Donna Summers

Sad day and I had a bit of a weird coincidence. Yesterday afternoon I took a crate of records downstairs to my garage. Whilst there I grabbed a handful of records from another box that a friend had given me and I had yet to look through. One of them was the Donna Summer album, "Once Upon A Time." I was unfamiliar with it but, as I have another couple of her albums I thought it might be worth a listen. I then came back upstairs, opened my laptop and saw that she had passed away. So I listened to all four sides of what turned out to be a typically groovy Donna Summer record, full of upbeat disco tunes and pre-house synths.
