I was searching about health care coverage waivers. I could not find info in this forum, so I started this threaded. The waivers on the health care coverage giving businesses, health plans, unions and others an exemption from a portion of the law that in 2011 requires an annual benefit limit of no less than $750,000. Yes, the union is joining health care reform waivers. Unions that support Obama or Democrats show these waivers as evidence that the Obama health plan is flawed. What worst is that Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius can grant such waivers, but the White House has no such authority on the waivers.

This is older news and gives a better general idea.

Of course it's flawed. Given the very nature of what is in place, it would be practically impossible to implement a flawless plan.

A more important question is, will it improve the overall situation?

That an easy question that I may able to answers to that question. The waivers delay the problem, not solve the problem. So at this point nothing have change in the Obama health plan yet.

at this point it needs to be a State by State program.
I somewhat agree with you. I would rather have state by state that deal with the health care. I would vote “none” of the health care for my state. That does not solve the Medicare and Medicaid problems. That is what many people have hoped that Obama would improve the Medicare and Medicaid problems. It is end up worse than many had expected.
