He's not a real candidate, he's just "the" candidate. He's the one that's been selected to mediate between the elites and the public/government.

He cannot draw a crowd. Gingrich could and Ron Paul does, but Mitt? Here's a story about Mitt knocking the stimulus package - a soft target - but how many people came to hear him? 200. His popularity is purely a media creation. Nobody cares to come out to see him. He is a totally artificial and stage managed production. Now his campaign isn't even allowing reporters to ask questions. In fact, they don't even get let into his meetings. No support from the people, stage managed media driven campaign running on money and vested interests.

Here's some video from Fox with a panel discussing the state of the two party system with a mention of Soros and vote counting machines as an added bonus for those people who like those kind of things.

Surely it's not like you to put words into someone else's mouth, is it?
I'm not predicting anything. I'm certainly not predicting Obama will run away with it. It's not usually the way the drama of the elections plays out. These things generally turn on narrow margins - for two reasons - 1) there isn't much difference between the parties, 2) it would look bad and could rock the gravy boat.

I've told you what I think and why I think it. I've taken the theme as far as I think it supports itself. To go further would be foolhardy. Now, why don't you show some brains?
 
Either it will be a squeaker for Obama or a landslide for Romney. With the world heading back into recession, I don't think the US economy by Nov is going to be in any shape for Obama to brag about. The last hope Obama has is if he goes in with Israel to bomb the crap out of Iran weeks before the election and hope that people will not dump a sitting President in the beginnings of a hot war.

One of the things that the elites do have is the ability to make the economy worse, should they feel that Romney is the better stooge.
