Adding fuel to the fire, a number of tea party leaders outside the Paul movement sided with his demands, warning that the rule changes were a power grab from state and local parties. Sarah Palin labeled the move a “direct attack on grassroots activists by the GOP establishment” in a Facebook post.
Celeste Gamache, a candidate for the Colorado House who favored Herman Cain and Rick Santorum in the primaries, suggested that the “horrible” rules were far more damaging to the party than the Paul camp’s reaction.
Because ... it's NOT unified.
There is a strong young energized electorate that the party does not want to listen to. They worked hard and made great inroads and they are being unfairly shut down. Mitt Romney is not an alternative to Obama - he's just a different colour Obama. Polls show he would lose to Obama. On the other hand, Ron Paul polls much better against Obama. The GOP is much happier to see Obama win than Paul because Obama's policies are more in line with what the GOP want - that's why they are promoting a virtually identical candidate.
My guy?On a side note; I think your guy Obama will still lose.
No. He's the President of the USA. That makes him YOUR guy. He really is nothing to do with me.Why hell yes!
You're a socialists and so is he. Therefore, your guy.
