It's a little sad, but also over hyped from what I can see. Hundreds of people waiting in a parking lot for a shoe to go on sale. Police are called to break up the crowd. No tear gas, no beatings - it doesn't look like it lives up to the hype as far as melees go, but still:
How can people get so worked up over a bit of footwear? Are a bunch of the people there because they know they can get way more than they buy the shoe for if they flip them on-line? Are the police just overly anxious these days when a crowd of people gather? And if people are willing to go this far over a shoe, why won't they do anything to get their country back?
