Should we drug test politicians?

Seems like some of the denizens of Westminster take a hoot from time to time.
Perhaps we should have politicians drug tested not so much to get rid of them but maybe they'll have to make the things they can't stay away from legal.
A good place to start might be somewhere there is an appetite for rampant drug testing for people receiving public money - like Florida.

Given that the stated reasons for testing sports people is "performance enhancing," it'd be unlikely to fly but I like the idea all the same.
