Because it's wrong number, there are 536 Americans being greedy: House of Representatives, Senate, and the President. They spend $2,000,000 in borrowed money every minute while we suffer in this depression and that's besides the $3,000,000 they demanded from us with the threat of a gun! By the time you finish reading this, those same 536 Greedy Americans have charged up on a $2,000,000 bill that YOU have to pay! Worst yet, they are being controlled by the world's super wealthy.

Because of the cognitive dissonance. Americans have an image of their country and their place in it that is false but emotionally attractive. Many Americans believe that they are in control of their own destiny and that America is a country of freedom with democracy instead of aristocracy as the guiding force. So long as everything is going well they have no reason to question this.
It is un-American to see that a tiny handful of people who are not elected are actually pulling all the strings and running the country. The thought is so abhorrent to most that they refuse to admit reality even if they see it for themselves. They would "hate to live in a world where that was true" so they chose to believe that it isn't true.
Dammy, for example,prefers to believe that the elected representatives are actually running the show. Without understanding that the elected representatives are merely window dressing who perform the will of the elites while pretending to be beholden to the people then people continue to live in the hope that changing the elected representatives will change government. In theory, that is true, but you must chose your own representatives and not the representatives that are chosen (and pre-screened) for you by the elite. If you don't understand the mechanisms and source of control you won't understand the problem and therefore you can't form the solution. That is part of the reason the theatre exists - to confuse the population and protect the 400.

Who do you have to pay it too? Once you know who you pay the money to, you will find the people who run the country. They are the same people who make sure that the representatives that have a chance of getting elected are the representatives that will be sure to borrow more money to keep the game going.
It's the same game that the elite have been playing in South America and Africa and now they are feeding in their own back yard. It's loan sharking, plain and simple, once you get rid of the window dressing.
