So ... what's everyone doing instead of hanging out here?

Very very quiet.

Personally I have been busy with renovations, several associations I hold offices in and and having to find a job. It seems that many of my hobbies have suffered over this period. I'm not sure I like it. I have a list of things I want to do as long as ... something very long, but an equally long list of things that I should do or that I'm "supposed" to do.

Blah!

How 'bout everyone else? It's been really quiet of late.

And still hoping to have a business case... but little I can do about that.

My aunt fell twice last November and the 2nd time landed in the hospital with two cracked ribs and maybe something fractured with her hip (I never did find out exactly what that was). She was sent to a rehab and was doing well for a while.

We took her out for the day on xmas and she was so weak she couldn't get up the stairs so we took her to the nearby hospital. She had an infection. So after that back to rehab.

She was ok but after a week or so she developed a cough and I noticed she was very dizzy. I called over a doctor and he readmitted her to the hospital. Later they had her in ICU under one of those oxygen machines that forced oxygen in her lungs. Anyway, eventually we had her in a hospice and I'm relieved to say she passed away peacefully.

Change in personal circumstances combined with working late a lot and going to a lot of gigs.

On the bright side I'm supposed to be starting a new job in a few weeks which will hopefully be a little less demanding of my time.
