firstly... that is way too cool... thats been my vision of things for quite some time... is man "lifes" greatest hope or just a poser; with a soon to be, dying branch... have a glorious day!! ;)

I've seen that article many times before (not that exact one but stories almost exactly the same) but universal flu vaccine research usually ends up getting gobbled up into a big vax manufacturer and then disappears. Why make one universal vaccine when they can make new vaccines every year. Selling a one time shot would be like selling a 100yr light bulb. Technically possible but a way to put yourself out of business.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't keep developing them though, just to have in their back pocket, if for no other reason than to threaten the other companies with.
