For those of you using the excuse of "It doesn't play games" to avoid the mac, it seems that Valve is bringing their full "Steam" gaming platform to the mac with simultaneous releases of their games. What this means is that any game they write should instantly be available for both the PC, Mac, and gaming consoles.

In short, the games drought may be at an end.

I almost exclusively use OSX these days but, then, I don't really play games anymore.

First, welcome to what Lee affectionately calls "the dark side" (OS X), which is funny considering his growing appreciation for it..

Secondly, the only true game I play is Call of Duty 4, but have been known to load WarCraft when I get bored. The big thing about Steam coming to the mac is that it's an open source gaming platform with about 2 dozen games already adapted/built for it.

The fact that Valve will support dual development means -- for me at least -- that I may be able to get deeper into gaming on that beautiful 27" monitor.

To be fair, I've been on OSX for about four or five years now.
