Tax the French!

In Canada the minimum wage is higher, and the cost of eating out is higher, so we typically tip between 10-15%. I imagine Australians would tip even less as they typically don't tip at all at restaurants because waiters make good money there. Personally, I think tipping is overall kinda stupid, but do it mostly because I know restaurant owners are often assholes that underpay their staff. A higher minimum wage would help solve that (yes, I'd rather they just add that to the overall cost, and why not, the end result would be the same).

You know, it used to be that waiting was considered an honorable profession. Now it's just something kids do when they need a break from homework.

Waiting has always been a job for college students, flexible hours, always hiring

There are people who go to restaurants just to complain about everything, cause a scene, in an attempt to get a free meal
