Seems that the Tea Party is nothing more than a fund raising and promotional vehicle for the scariest creature ever presented to the US voting public for the position of vacuous glove puppet figurehead of the United States of America.

To demonstrate her qualifications as extremely vacuous Sarah not only wrote her talking points on her hand, she also showed everybody.

She shouldn't just stare at her palm, she should give herself a good hard smack in her her own face!

Oh, and as an aside, to all the guys, I recommend checking out this side-bar story: Vernon Kay. But don't bother actually READING, if you know what I mean...

You're such a tool. He wasn't addressing 6th graders directly in that photo, he was announcing the continuation of the Race to the Top program. Click here to read an article about it and a video where he addresses mostly TV reporters about the program. You'll also find pics of when he does address the kids:

This is the typical kind of deliberate misinformation Republicans love to throw at everyone they don't like. Quite pathetic. But then again I can't expect more from someone who doesn't see anything wrong with this picture:

The Obama "no teleprompter" speech:

"Crisis" "uh" "make no mistake" "umh uh" "Bush left us this mess!" "uh um uh" "let me be perfectly clear" "um uh um" "we inherited this mess" "ahh ahh ahh" "extraordinary" "let’s be clear” "I inherited" "uh" "well, you see, its actually quite complicated" "uhhhh" "it won't happen over night" "ahh" “I want to be clear” "mmh uh" "That's above my pay grade." "uh mmmh" “transparency” "for sure" "umh uh" "it was unprecedented.. " "er" "previous administration" "hope" "change" "Words only words" "corpseman"

The Obama "no teleprompter" speech:

You are making a logical error with your attempted spirited defense.

However, "Obama uses a teleprompter" does not equal "Palin is not an moron", nor does it equal "the Tea Party is a GOP propaganda campaign".

President Barack Obama doesn’t go anywhere without his TelePrompter. Obama can't put two sentences together without the aid of a teleprompter. A scripted Obama is a gifted orator, he can read a prepared text from a teleprompter giving a articulate and flawless speech, with no Teleprompter providing the word for word prepared text, Obama sounds like a moron.

Well that maybe so, although I've never seen an example of that. Still that's better then his predecessor who sounded like a moron even with the teleprompter. And of course his main rival these days Sarah Palin is in the same category, except she looks like a moron too when reading her palm. So I'm glad we can all agree that Obama is a marked improvement!

not to mention the fact that when obama speaks he actually says something and when palin opens her mouth she says nothing

He sure does... He says all sorts of things... Then accomplishes none of them. He's been real hard on those fat cat bankers. We sure got lots of jobs, now, too. Those wars are winding down nicely. I'm sure glad we don't have Gitmo, anymore. The proposed health care reform looks promising -- glad we can see it all on CSPAN.

Oh, wait.... None of those have materialized. In fact, despite having strong majorities behind him, I can't think of a single promise he's made that has had any follow-through, whatsoever.

Of course, I don't really put all the blame on him. The House and Senate are completely worthless. As best as I can figure, we're about 535 times more screwed than old Rome was. They only had one person standing by fiddling while the empire burned.... We've got 100 Senators and 435 Reps.

Obama said:
The journey will be difficult. The road will be long. I face this challenge -- I face this challenge with profound humility and knowledge of my own limitations, but I also face it with limitless faith in the capacity of the American people.

Because if we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that, generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless...

... this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal...

... this was the moment when we ended a war, and secured our nation, and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth.

This was the moment, this was the time when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves and our highest ideals.

"words, just words"

Has the ocean receded yet?

He did reverse Bush's policy on funding stem cell research.

True... And that is a step in the right direction. So, at least I guess there is SOMETHING. I'm somewhat placated. Though a change in a funding policy isn't quite as ambitious as what we should be demanding, especially considering the speeches he's given.

True, but the benefits of stem cell research could benefit the entire planet and in the most profound of ways. Now we stand a chance to reap those benefits within our lifetime. It could be the greatest medical breakthrough since antibiotics.

and unfortunately most people can't think ahead with such forward thinking ideas.
