So, what do you do if you're a person who needs to give more money than you legally can to a politician? Well, you can create a new person that can give the money and then, when you are done, make the new person disappear. Obviously this doesn't work very well (or at least there are many legal and temporal complications) for living human people, but it's much easier for artificial people.
