It's obvious that we disagree on what constitutes PC or even pop culture. I'm obviously not very PC here because I failed to defer reverentially to the "sacred" idea that religion deserves respect for no other reason than the religious get upset if you laugh at their ideas. But trolling isn't so much about fighting because a good scrap on the interwebs can be a lot of fun and you don't have to get your nose set afterwards. What I objected to was that your statement seemed to be deliberately moronic and over the top. If you were truly earnest then I can't muster anything more than a face-palm - sorry.

It's OK to make fun of dangerous religious fanatics, yes. Of course we should do more than that - we should rout them out and break their power because it doesn't make much difference whether it's christian or muslim, once you turn all the schools into madrassas you aren't training citizens, you are training an unquestioning ideological army.
