Well, I finally saw the latest installment of the Terminator franchise last night and about all I can say is there is alot of action. Don't ask me for much more info because it won't be good, especially if you are a fan of the movie series.

I know Coleridge (sp) calls for the "willful suspension of disbelief" but there are some serious flaws in this film that I simply cannot overlook.

SPOILERS AHEAD...... READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.........

OK.. where to begin...

1. Apparently nuclear weapons only produce blast and nothing else. You can be within sight (mere hundreds of yards) of a detonation and there are apparently no radiological effects on humans. There is also apparently no associated EMP with any detonation. All electronics will continue to function as normal, regardless the age of the electronics.

2. Apparently SkyNet saw the transormers movie and decided to upgrade... guess the T- series terminators aren't good enough anymore. ;-)

3. You can apparently blow up a car in the middle of the desert and a skynet sentry will show up to investigate but a major military (resistance) installation, complete with RF and other emissions is always invisible to skynet?

4. From here on out, Helen Bonham Carter is banned from ever appearing in sci-fi films again. Why you ask? Apparently she is the destroyer of humanity. ;-) Case in point, she was a chimp in the (remake) Planet of the Apes... downfall of man, and now she is the face of skynet (downfall of man). By taking her out of sci-fi movies, man will never fall. There, I have saved humanity.

5. John Conner is now apparently global as he now has a British accent. ;-)

And apparently you can use a CB radio to communicate with guys thousands of miles away from you while you're under the ocean in a nuclear submarine.

You can sustain only minor wounds from a large steal shank driven straight through your chest.
