As a child reading Sagan and Asimov I found their views inspiring.
It was thrilling to realize that humans could reject fear and stupidity for reason and logic.....and that this could be the Turning Point of human history.
last year I think I saw an "updated" version of Cosmos. That is, they added nice effects.I've watched Sagan's Cosmos through twice now and will probably do so again in the near future. Although it's aged a little it's still head and shoulders above anything of that ilk since.

Which either makes God a bit of a dolt for not noticing, or he's in on the game, which would make him a bit of a dick (as in the story of Job).
