It has been for quite some time. Since 2000 it has been OK to arrest people in the US and put them into secret prisons without any charges and without the need to let anyone know that they have actually done this. People have been gagged by court order in the US and the UK and people have even been gagged from telling people that they have been gagged. Now the UK is looking at making it a crime to even ask a gagged person anything. A super-duper-injunction.

Just who is running the world and what are they so scared of?

Don't worry McDeath you're safe in Canada.

But wait, isn't that the one that you wanted to gag yourself?

Sometimes the irony just runs rampant around here.

You see nothing wrong in the leader of a country involving himself personally in starting a politically slanted TV channel then pulling strings to get it by the CRTC and having ex-employees of his staff it? Don't see any appearance of conflict of interest in that?

He's using his taxpayer paid job to set up an advertising machine to get himself re-elected despite being one of the most scandal ridden governments not just of recent history but all of Canadian history and he's doing this despite the fact that the current media has already gone incredibly easy on him.

This is not a TV channel, it is a propaganda mill. Of course, you already have those masquerading as TV channels so you probably can't tell the difference any more at this point.

Don't you miss the days when you used to live in a free country? Guess not.
