The Obama Legacy

It's true that most people were opposed to "Obama Care" as it was finally formulated but the unmentioned part is that this is due in large part because 60% of Americans wanted a public option - something that health-care industry knew it would be unable to compete with profitably and a lot of executive pay packets would become untenable. If there's anything a CEO understands it's how to spend the shareholders' money to protect his pay packet.
