The people are waking

I have to say the Americans are doing a better job. The Greeks are just rioting senselessly. This drives away more people then it attracts. In NYC we're seeing prominent people, people who may have some influence. In Greece, the violence only leaves the thugs behind.

Some interesting stuff going on.

The Greeks are just rioting senselessly.

A blanket statement which, in my opinion, does the country a disservice.

The country is today in the grip of a 24-hour national strike which has seen flights grounded, schools shut and people on the streets trying to storm the Athens parliament of its bankrupt government.

Regardless of which yardstick you use, the above is a lot more than *just* rioting senselessly.

Shame Occupy Wall Street now has Pop Culture morphing the movement into a push for Communism whether the people behind the movement likes it or not.

What the hell are you gibbering about? "Pop Culture" "Communism" You sound like you are captured by focus group tested buzz words and talking points.

Funny how you sew your eyes shut at times. I told you a week or so ago I was concerned this was starting to be carefully cultivated and where I guessed it would go. Now when I turn on the TV news I see the carefully crafted message being beemed across the country and how they are linking this to being a huge pro-Obama movement. The very idea the movement started with the idea of being pro-Obama is laughable, but here we are. Now the unions are co-opting the movement and you TV beaming Michael More and Dylan Rat as the spokesmen. Even in the pro-movement article linked above you see a Che poster.

If this is not what the movement stands for, they need to organize and reject the attempt to co-opt the movement. Certain elements of the movement SHOULD closely align with the Tea Party, like protesting the Fed.

Best way to prevent the far left from owning the movement is by getting some right wingers involved. This is something everyone should be a part of. Don't be afraid to agree with left wingers Red, sometimes everyone's correct. You seem far too polarized for your own good. You don't need to be a communist to hate corruption.

Most anyone wants to be on the right side of this - and, yes, they want to use it, but that doesn't mean they can.

And when Ron Paul talks about the occupywallstreet means "end the fed" - is he co-opting the movement?
And tell me what makes Dylan Ratigan a Communist.

There are Tea Partiers there. There are plenty of Ron Paul supporters in the crowd. There is no leader and that makes it harder to actually co-opt. And since there is no leader it also stands for no one thing.

And in related news the Tea Party is amazed that an actual protest could happen without being backed by MSM and Big Business.

Still a minor movement, but I'm sure the Global Elites will fund more of it to make it as big as possible. The Global Elites want the banks to collapse, they want the US economy in a massive depression and massive devaluation of the USD that pushes into a massive inflationary depression so we can't dig our way out of it. Question is can they save Obama in time?

Banksters are indeed the enemy, but they own the Progressive movement as well as the GOP Establishment. They own everything they can, including the unions. All pawns in their game that the tax payers have to pick up the tab. If you don't see a global financial meltdown in progress and who has engineered it, get use to the idea of hunger making a ugly return in the US.

That's a lie and you know it. Tea Party is hated by the Global Elites, they are exactly what the Global Elites don't want to happen. Global Elites plans are for massive government control of the masses, not decentalization of power. Funny this is all happening while Obama's ratings are in the tank and corruption is becoming common knowledge with demands of special councils to be formed for investigations. No, I don't believe in coincidents, this is all planned to save Obama and the Democrats from a massive beating in the next elections. That is why Pelosi/Obama are giving the thumbs up to this, to save their corrupt hides.

The Tea Party was launched by the elites, funded by the elites from day one and driven through the right wing PR machine specifically to skim off the discontented (especially libertarian Ron Paul supporters) to push religious right candidates into the GOP. That's not to say it didn't draw in a lot of earnest people, but it was set up specifically to neutralize and redirect those people.

The occupy movement started quite differently, but of course, all sorts of interest groups are piling on now but it's a very big tent. This is a spectrum crossing movement and it's pretty much taking aim at the financial industry which is the seat of the global elites.

Perhaps the theory that you have adopted might seem more convincing to me if you could tell me who are the Global Elites, and then lay out in detail the structure of this theory and how it explains what is going on. Or at least just link me to the place you got it from.
