This blew my mind....

A few questions on a few people isn't enough to rule out significant error potential. If anything this indicates that more testing should be planned.

In similar news... A dead Salmon can tell human emotions and shows signs of brain activity in an MRI...

This supposed brain activity may well turn out to be a red herring, or should I say salmon?

Well, you're right, more research is needed, and by other research teams. However, the idea isn't all ridiculous.

As for the fish, that too is interesting. As someone who's not even close to pretending to be an expert, I'd venture an outlandish guess that perhaps the photocells in the eye still create some kind of chemical reaction that get's translated to the brain. Not totally out of the realm of possibility as the optic nerve is really are an extension of the brain itself. But that's as far as I'd go.

I don't know why either.

Though magnetic fields and electrical fields always exist with each other. I wonder if the MRI could have induced a small electrical current then picked it up as a reading.
