I think you said something about the protests being co-opted though I admit I'm just assuming that since I haven't done all the necessary reading. Which thread did you say it in?

Unions joining a protest isn't much like co-opting though because unions already agree. The protesters are simply drawing allies. What unions have is people, human people with human bodies. It's not nearly as powerful as money (because money means more than people) but it's something. I here that military vet organizations are also considering support. Would that have any impact on what you said last night (whatever it was)?
 
Although I would agree that the Occupy Wall St movement has a very wide umbrella in terms of what their goals are, their core issue has always been the corruption within the financial industry. So I think Red you're focusing on the wrong thing. It's not who's at the rally, but who's NOT at the rally. Why aren't you there? I thought you'd be one of the first.
