US Calls For Extradition Of UK Web Pirates

Well, when the UK gleefully signed up to the lopsided extradition treaty the cries of "oh they'll never do it in practice," were indeed made.

"If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear.
Now, put your civil liberties in this plastic bag and shut yer whining."

Yup, I remember it well, both then and now.

"If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear.

David Blunkett.

Now, put your civil liberties in this plastic bag and shut yer whining."

David Blunkett, Jacky Smith and of course, our good friend Mr Blair.

I heard Blunkett interviewed on R4 yesterday.
The evil bastard actually came across as a decent bloke, which scares the living shite out of me.

He was the same on question time on the couple of occasions he showed up there whilst Home Secretary. And yes, he comes off as pretty decent, right up until you start to really examine what he's saying.

Unfortunately, most people can't be bothered to do that.

Quite normal for psychopaths.

I hear that Britain recently erected a statue to Ronald Reagan. That tells you a lot about who runs the country.

When you have bases for Caesar's soldiers and statues of Caesar it's pretty clear you belong to Caesar.

Indeed. I was fourteen when I heard this and it's as true now as it was in 1986:

CHORUS

The ammunition's being passed, and the lords been praised,
But the wars on the televisions will never be explained,
All the bankers gettin sweaty, beneath their white collars,
As the pound in our pocket, turns into a dollar.

This is the 51st state--of the U. S. A.
(Repeat and fade.)
