A document, prepared at the request of a “Tea Party” congressman, indicates the 7th Special Forces Group “Has Conducted Operations in Every Latin American Country”.

I thought that was pretty much a given. Let's be honest, outside of Russia and China, is there anywhere that US special forces could be deployed that would really surprise you? even those two wouldn't be that much of a stretch.

As for Mexico, well, the article states that 40,000 people have been murdered in Mexico since 2006 in "drug wars."

Yet people are still happy to be brainwashed into believing the absurd proposition that drugs being illegal is somehow beneficial to them.

The US has invaded Mexico and our left wing media is silent as are all of the US lefties. Could you imagine the mouth frothing if this was GWB sending troops?

The US has invaded Mexico......

Invaded?

Really, Jim?

So you consider any use of specail forces in a foreign country an invasion?

Interesting.

I don't necessarrily disagree but it does strike me as an interesting position to hold, given that it would mean the USA has invaded half the planet in the last few decades.

There was no mouth frothing when Bush 41 sent troops to get Noriega after he stopped taking the CIAs orders and 5000 Panamanian people were killed in that operation and you didn't hear a thing about those deaths, did you, despite the media being so "liberal".

Noam Chomsky HAS been mouth frothing - in his highly intellectual way, about US involvement in South America for YEARS and YEARS. He is a lefty. The media ignores him. The media is NOT a lefty. The media is a small collection of US corporations and they have as much desire to look at what the US military/CIA/Government do to help corporations rape other peoples' countries as they have to investigate the sexual kinks of their own CEOs and Boards of Directors.

The only place you find the "liberal" media is online or in very small publications printing stories like this. Bill Conroy is classic. He can't get published by the "liberal" media - just like his hero Gary Webb, who couldn't find work in the "liberal" media after he exposed the Iran Contra affair.

Giant corporations that benefit from taxpayer funded covert operations in vassal states will NEVER report those things unless they absolutely have no choice - and then they will black-ball the reporters that pushed them into that corner.
