Wages are the lowest ever

We didn't have to go backward. U.S. income grew $11,684 on average between 1969 and 2008

hmmm, what happened in 2008 to change that?
Oh yes, there was an election!
How's that "Hope & Change" working out?

Metalman I wish the question was as easy as blame 1 person. ... Unfortunately its a decade old if not three decade old problem.

Well, if you'd just finish the quote you mined it says:
the year Wall Street drove our economy off a cliff.
and then it goes on to say:
But there was nothing average about the actual income distribution. Every dime of income growth went to the top 10 percent. Income for the bottom 90 percent declined.
Yes, the mean average went up but it went up because the top end grew. The guys in the middle and especially at the bottom went backwards. (in the same 1969 to 2008 period).

So, if you were reading properly you would see that the writer is actually saying that despite the fact that average income went up during that time, the income for most people rose very little or fell between 1969 and 2008.

Your right, you have to blame a whole political party, the party of the jackass for this

There were two sets of craven idiots here - don't give one set a free pass because you like to fly a red flag.
