Let me guess, it's Bush's fault again?

Incredibly difficult to know what you mean by that. If you mean that the drive to war is Bush's fault then that would not be fair - Bush was just doing as he was told when he cooperated with this grand venture to transform the Near and Middle East. The guys who are trying to start the war with Iran are the same gang as the guys who started the war on Libya, Iran, Afghanistan and the Balkans, and Bush could have stood in their way a bit (as his dad wanted him to) but he was a simple and easily manipulated man. British, American and European oil interests are driving this but it benefits Israel too and they make a powerful ally when influencing the US political system. Think about what kind of system that we have in North America when politicians openly say that they put Israel's interests ahead of the US (or, up here in the frozen north Canada).
Both Israel and Iran are lead by populist hawks. Not sure what the US could do about it as Israel has stated they're prepared to go it alone if need be. You know, the US President doesn't have god-like powers as you Americans like to believe. So it is Bush's fault that Iran policy is a pure disaster and not our Glorious Leader, Obama's?

It seems it's time you did some reading: Iran under Ahmadinejad: populism and its malcontents (pdf)Iran is lead by a populist? I don't think so.
