That IS the way it's done. It's how Murdoch has been running governments for years. The Moonies set up The Washington Times to counter what they felt was the liberalism of The Washington Post.

Now is the time to pick up newspapers too, since they're going cheap. They might not make much money but they still have cachet. Besides, it also looks like he now has leverage on at least one TV operation through debt.

Mind you, the sort of places you want to get into are Reuters, UPI, AP - the big wire services. That's where newspapers get most of their stories these days. Unless he plans to staff his papers so they can source their own stories then he will still be carrying much of the same propaganda the other papers carry.
 
as long as he doesn't run his business like murdoch I really don't care.
