Could be. Who knows. It's a typical kind of set up but then again - a lot of these powerful rich guys have ... um ... proclivities but the consequences usually get handled for them so perhaps someone just decided that now would be a good time to not handle it.

Probably we'll never really know but it's a high stakes game at the top and ambitious people aren't above a little dirty pool (in all of the ways that you want to take that).
