No argument there, but I don't see that as the main reason to hate cops. Following orders in a way detaches them from the decision making process and thus absolves them from moral guilt. The executioner is in a similar position as he kills people but does so on orders from the highest authority - a judge. The messenger MUST relay the message, no matter how painful it is.
