Following up on Fluffy's post about the American Idol singer's cause of death being listed as obesity, it deserves its own thread. I just saw this on my FB timeline.

I hate to dogpile on this young lady, but giving her a crown as Miss Alabama is not just ridiculous, it's endangering the lives of all girls. This is just ignoring the fact no man (or woman) in the public would pick her as first choice or even 10th. You do not tell someone they can be "healthy at any weight". It's a lie. ~5 years ago there was that "Healthy At Any Size" campaign with numerously morbidly obese women getting paid as influencers to promote the obese lifestyle. Every single one of them died under 40, most WELL under 40. It happened with that American Idol lady that Fluffy pointed out and by looking at the size of this Miss Alabama, she won't make 30. She's 23 and probably won't make 30 if she stays at that weight.

You have to ask yourself why are they pushing this lie? Even after all their paid influencers died within a few years of being hired, they continue to push the lie. Why? They want you dead IMO. The powers that be, whatever you want to call them, want you dead as soon as possible. They just need you to do it to yourself so they can claim clean hands.

My first intuition was that it was the food industry. Healthy at any size seemed to explode when New York was talking about implementing a sugar tax for sweet drinks. But it's not just sugary drinks and high fructose corn syrup. American food makes people fat. Food in other countries doesn't do that - but when those other countries get American food - they get fat.

However, there is a secondary factor which helps push it I have heard and that is women are mercilessly deceptive when dealing with other women and like it when other women look less attractive than they do, but they'll lie and say the frumpy girls look gorgeous so they won't try to change. When your Me Alabama looks like a bucket of putty, all the other girls are happy they look better than a beauty pageant winner.
 
Obesity, like a psycho killer is running rampant in the world. It should never be glorified because people are too lazy to eat less, exercise more and get in better shape. I feel much better after loosing 100 pounds but it took some time and I never accepted being fat. Now I Row on my home rower almost everyday. I enjoy it more than stuffing my face. For a nice relaxing night at home nothing beats some popcorn and watching a Trump rally. Better than watching a big budget movie. No one knows what will happen next. Also, Secret Eaters is a great show to watch from the UK.

Well the food industry are part of the string pullers, but the "health care industry" itself are actively trying to kill people. The concept of the Hippocratic Oath is long dead.

Sometimes they even say the quiet part out loud. This is a TED Talk, not Infowars.


I don't care what the "fact checkers" say, there is no context to make this acceptable.

Social media platforms claim they have rules against self harm, yet Mukbang videos are promoted to the very top. The TLDW is these creators are either on death's doorway or actually already dead.

I just googled MUKBANG and kind of wish I hadn't bothered. I'd never heard this term until about a minute ago.

I replied to only part of your post. This right here is absolutely correct. The McDonalds "food" served here in the US is completely different the the McDonalds served almost anywhere else in the world. Much or even most of what is allowed here is not allowed elsewhere with few exceptions.

By western they mean US. I've seen a documentary on this country. Their "grocery stores" are almost nothing but the worst junk food from US companies.

Food supply system is junk in America. So much ultra processed food that it’s disgusting. I’m so glad I beat my obesity two years ago and I’m now normal weight. I feel much better and am embarrassed I was fooled by the American food supply system for so long. Sugary soda tastes so disgusting now. I managed to stop drinking that in 2002 but was already obese back then. I wonder if obesity is what led to the founder of Digital Juices early death. I don’t know why he died so young but he also struggled with obesity for many years until he finally beat it too. It’s so sad he is gone, big Amiga fan and developer for many years then he went on to do cool things for the PC/Mac market as well. I big loss to our community.
