President Elect Trump watch

That said, in the article in question, Fisk does criticise him for trying to undermine the judiciary.
In my opinion that's a valid observation and worthy of criticism.

Yes, but as far as I can see it's mutual. Of course, the judiciary is as politicised as any wing of the government and it's nice to see them being so open about it - while pretending they aren't - but it's not really like it was a secret. The courts already elected a president in 2000. Now they are trying to get rid of one.

I'm in 2 minds about the two state solution. The first observation is that while this has been a goal for decades one of the states is disappearing. If the UN were serious about the solution they would recognise Palestine as a state, recognise the government of Palestine as the government and call for enforcement of the borders that have been recognised by the UN since 1967 - and call for sanctions or direct action.

The 2 state solution has been pushed for so long but is just being used as a holding pattern while Israel grabs all of the Palestinian land - and if they can move the Palestinians away at the same time then all the land will be Jewish.

On the other hand, calling for a single state with equal laws for all now would force Israel to have to integrate, change it's laws significantly or admit that it is a profoundly racist state/concept - something which it currently avoids.

I wouldn't argue with any of that, except:
would force Israel to have to integrate

I'm not so sure it would.
It could just as easily end up all being called Israel, with Jerusalem as the capital and what-were-formerly-known-as-Palestinians still being treated as an underclass.

Piss-eyed Tango monster demands everyone say nice things about it

A DESPERATE, blithering {bleep}-up has demanded the media accurately report how unbelievably fantastic it is.

The unnaturally fluorescent mass of insecurities, apparently incapable of understanding basic logic, told press that the real story was how incredible it was and how much everyone loved it.

The thing, which blankly opened and closed a hole in its face even when not speaking as if in an autonomous feeding reflex, was able to respond to human speech but experts believe it is simply mimicry, devoid of meaning.

BBC reporter Julian Cook said: “It appeared to answer questions, but when you read back the answers they’re nothing but a torrent of unconnected words mixed with a keening refrain of pathetic self-praise.

“We believe this creature actually feeds on adulation and has adapted to seek out high concentrations of it, but instead is now exposed to unprecedented levels of toxic criticism causing it to lash out.”

He added: “Its neediness is almost to be pitied, if it wasn’t such a contemptible sack of orange shit.”

As I said, I'm not convinced that would be the case and neither is this guy:
Morton Klein, president of the oldest pro-Israel group in the US, Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), said that Trump’s remark marked a turning point.

“We have entered a new sane, rational era in dealing with the Arab-Islamic war against Israel – it’s remarkable that he has backed off from supporting a Palestinian state,” he said.

As former secretary of state John Kerry put it last December: “If the choice is one state, Israel can either be Jewish or democratic – it cannot be both – and it won’t ever really be at peace.”

Klein dismissed that objection as “one of the great propaganda myths”. He said the difficulty could be overcome either by allowing Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank “to continue living their own lives” within autonomous areas in which Israel still had control over security, or by allowing West Bank residents to become citizens of Jordan.

So perhaps not as straightforward as we might like.

You know what the trustworthy professional media has to say, now lets check the Kremlin's fake news state propaganda channel.
Ha ha ha. What crazy talk. No wonder the defenders of the free world want it banned.

"Look at what happened in Sweden last night! SWEDEN!"

"Who would believe this?"

The same people who believe all the other rubbish that spews from your constantly-flapping lie-hole.

Except he wasn't. Nothing happened in Sweden that night.
Something happened on Fox news that night - they showed a report on Sweden.
Trump now claims that's what he was referring to.
Perhaps he was, perhaps he wasn't.

Either way, the above link is just another example of "what he meant to say was..." which seems to be one of the stock excuses that gets rolled out almost every time he speaks.
