Way too close to home for me. This airport is about 3-4 miles away from my house. Out on the road you see different jurisdictions flying with their lights on towards the airport. Reports are there is at least 100 officers at the airport. What a mess :-(

The sheriff is stating no, there is no second shooter. Local media is reporting that not only members of the public heard gunshots after the first guy was already in custody, but members of the local media on location are also claiming they heard gunshots. Anyhow the current official story is just one shooter.

Anyone else notice what CNN did to Ft Lauderdale shooter’s photo?

Move over George Zimmerman, there’s a new “white Hispanic” on the block.

Such became the case earlier today when CNN identified the lone gunman who carried out today’s airport attack in Fort Lauderdale, killing five and wounding eight. The shooter was 26-year-old Esteban Santiago, who CNN identified as the man pictured below.

Meanwhile, had you turned on CNN, this is the photo you would’ve seen:

They were hardly the only ones whitewashing the shooter.
