On the individual level, I'm shocked they are able to hold him without charging him or stating he is some material witness and has to stay in custody, although I guess the government is operating under it's own laws and policies. On the bigger and long term timeline, this is all meaningless as I'm betting on seeing a civil war in Nigeria as it's a country of mixed religions. Such a civil war will be backed by those who want higher oil prices and could care less if tens or hundreds of thousands of innocent have to die.
