Japanese automaker Toyota claims it's seeking a $2 billion state bailout to help its car financing unit. LINK

Clearly the problem is Toyota can't build a car to compete in the marketplace. -- Stated Republican Senator Bob Corker. (Okay perhaps I changed 1 word.)

CLEARLY! lol... And just think. Toyota managed to get into this mess without having:
(1) nearly twice as many pensioned and insured retirees as current employees
(2) a UAW contract negotiated under strong-arm conditions
(3) a jobs bank that makes it economically unfeasable to cut production numbers.

Just imagine the crater they'd make if they had been in GM's shoes. Yet, clearly, GM is incompetent and deserves to fail. Our country is run by idiots.
