I don't have an issue with famous individuals and companies being "verified" (assuming its actually done properly so we KNOW for a fact it's the real entity)Seems reasonable considering what "verified" is supposed to mean i.e. that the name of the tweeter is the verified name of the person posting. Elon does dumb things but enforcing the integrity of the "verified" mark and enforcing twitter's long standing rules against impersonation when not clearly marked as parody are not among those dumb things.
