Page nav buttons (1,2,3,4, etc)

I was able to figure out how to turn on the option for thread page nav buttons (you know, like 1,2,3,4) from each forum list page. Unfortunately, since the front page module is a third-party deal, I'm not sure that's possible right now for the front page

Maybe they'll get around to it.

Any idea how I can reverse the ordering of posts in a thread so the most recent are always at the top? I don't seem to see it in my preferences.
