I don't know who this "Sandy" is, but it looks like someone from a lovely cheesy tv series

"Us New Yorkers"? You New Yorkers have the second most ethnicities living in your town. I can't believe there's anything "typically New Yorkish", except for being not local.but...well.....we are made of tough stuff, us new yorkers.

Hope your big storm is every bit as exciting for you as our big quake was for us here on the left coast. I didn't feel a thing.
I think Sandy is an opportune time for the Romney campaign. He's told us how he's going to cut FEMA to save money. He could use this event just prior to the election to describe how his gutting of disaster relief will better support the East Coast population. I want to hear about how gutting will return the nation to full service quicker after this event.
I'd agree there are likely some good cuts. I seriously question if Mitt thinks about it the same way you are here. "Federal Disaster aid is immoral" - June 2011, New Hampshire debates as stated by Mitt Romney. You can cut FEMA and still actually help people, you know. Just cut out things like the concentration camps which has nothing to do with helping people.
