The Monty Python analogy is bang on.

She had an hour long programme recently, where she was supposedly defending Christianity. It was the most illogical, irrational pile of gibbering horsefeathers I've seen in many a year. Add in her excruciating voice and it was a work of supreme will-power to watch the whole thing.
All for nought, as she said precisely nothing of substance.

I felt the same way.......just couldn't stand to hear her voice.....I kept thinking I was watching Monty Python with the guys dressing in drag. "Helllooooo, Mrs Conclusion"
and, of course, anytime people try to "explain" their religion they get all irrational and utterly boring.

I kept having to skip through Anne Widecombe's statements. After a couple of minutes her voice sounded like fingernails down a blackboard.
Then again, she often has that effect on me.
